Which local city is a top destination for a ‘canna-cation?’

Boulder is one of the nation’s top cities for weed-smoking tourists, according to Upgraded Points LLC, an information source for people looking for ways to put their credit card rewards to use.  

Boulder, one of three Colorado cities to make the top ten, was ranked fourth best stoner-friendly vacation destination. Denver was ranked first and Colorado Springs came in eight, which is a bit of a head-scratcher given that recreational marijuana sales are not permitted in the city. 

Upgraded Points used criteria such as travel cost, marijuana prices, availability of weed-friendly accommodations and activities and dispensaries per capita. 

“If you’re looking for the ideal destination for your ‘canna-cation’ this year, the grass is greener in cities like Denver, Oakland, Boulder, and Portland,” the report said.
