FORT COLLINS — Crossroads Safehouse, a Fort Collins-based nonprofit that has served survivors of domestic violence in Northern Colorado for nearly 40 years, has promoted Missy Van Sickle to the position of shelter and outreach director. The organization is merging its shelter and outreach programs into one unit under Van Sickle. “Intimate partner violence is an increasingly prevalent issue in the region,” Lisa Poppaw, executive director of Crossroads Safehouse, said in a press release. “As Crossroads enters its 39th year of providing life-saving programs in Northern Colorado, we are committed to fostering our legacy in ways that inspire and transform individuals and our Northern Colorado community.” Van Sickle has worked for the past five years with Crossroads Safehouse.
