Community Foundation of Northern Colorado adds two to board

FORT COLLINS – The Community Foundation of Northern Colorado said Tuesday it has added LeAnn Massey and Kathi Wright to its board of trustees.

Massey retired as executive director of Respite Care in 2022 after working with the Northern Colorado nonprofit for 25 years. She continues to volunteer with that organization and the children it serves. A third-generation native of Fort Collins, she enjoys consulting with nonprofit

agencies on board development and strategic planning.

Wright moved to Loveland in 1978 and was elected to its City Council in 2017 for a four-year term. She worked for a variety of organizations including the Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County and supports #LiveLoveland and the Children’s Museum of Northern Colorado.

“We couldn’t ask for two more qualified, respected individuals to join our board,” said Kristin Todd, president and CEO of the Community Foundation, in a prepared statement. “Their deep community knowledge and rich experience in the nonprofit sector will be invaluable as the foundation works toward its mission of creating transformational community impact.”

The foundation’s board, chaired by Denise Juliana, includes Tom Behr, Charles Bouchard, Craig Greenslit, Cecil Gutierrez, Jim Hendrix, Ann Hutchison, Mark Newendorp, Nick Roe, Nicole Staudinger and Marla Trumper.

The nonprofit, public foundation manages more than 600 funds and approximately $190 million in assets. More than 80 nonprofit organizations have their endowments housed with the Community Foundation.
