‘All for Fall’ campaign raises $5K for area nonprofits

FORT COLLINS — All for Fall, a month-long promotional campaign conducted during October, raised almost $5,000 for four area nonprofits.

Sixteen downtown businesses invited customers to round up their purchases to the nearest dollar to support four local nonprofits.

The promotion, launched by the Fort Collins Downtown Development Authority in 2020, received the 2021 Governor’s Award for Downtown Excellence in the Partnership category for its collaborative efforts to grow awareness and community.

Businesses that participated in the third annual promotion included: Akinz, Alpine Arts — The Colorado Showcase, Ben & Jerry’s, Clothes Pony & Dandelion Toys, Dandelions & Rust, Downtown Ace Hardware, EsScentuals, FoCo Cafe, Fort Collins Tours, Hearne’s Footwear and Clothing, Juszak Realty, Kansas City Kitty, Old Firehouse Books, Peacock’s Perch, Pinot’s Palette, and Wagz Pet Market & Grooming. 

Funds raised will be split evenly between four local nonprofits, as selected by participating businesses. This year’s recipients include: Animal Friends Alliance, FoCo Cafe, Food Bank for Larimer County, and Sexual Assault Victim Advocate (SAVA) Center. Animal Friends Alliance.
