Alio hires chief medical officer, marketing leader

BROOMFIELD — Alio Inc., a Broomfield-based medical-technology company, has hired David Whittaker as its new chief medical officer.

Wittaker’s resume includes a stint holding the same role with the Defense Health Agency, which supports medical care for American military personnel. 

Additionally, the company, which develops technology to monitor chronic diseases, including end-stage kidney disease, has hired Dana Schroeder to lead its marketing efforts.

“Last year we established incredible momentum as an organization,” Alio CEO David Kuraguntla said in a prepared statement. “Adding dynamic leaders to our team like Dave and Dana will help us accelerate our growth trajectory while building out our functional capabilities. These individuals, while experts in their respective fields, are united by their strong belief in the mission and vision of our company.
